Restorative Yoga
Restorative yoga, to some, has the appearance of being very passive, or “easy”.
However, some might say it is more challenging than tradition hatha yoga.
Holding poses for longer, staying still, and present, this type of yoga can present a different type of challenge.
Restorative yoga helps with stretching and flexibility by holding in place for longer periods of time.
It has amazing health benefits and, with time and consistency, can relieve stress and anxiety.
Restorative yoga:
Deeply relaxes the body
Stills the busy mind
Releases muscle tension, improving mobility and flexibility
Improves capacity for healing and balancing
Balances the nervous system
Boosts the immune system
We offer restorative yoga monthly and workshops throughout the year.
We believe in the benefits and in the importance of bringing this style of yoga to the community.
Corine has been practicing yoga for more than 30 years.
Join her for a restorative yoga class in the studio the first Wednesday of every month at 6pm.
